Who We Are

QuickShare is operated by Digital Synergy Web Solutions cc, a South African close corporation trading as Digital Synergy.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Digital Synergy, and “you” refers to the person using QuickShare.

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.

Using QuickShare

You need an account to upload files, but anyone with a valid download link can access shared files (unless password-protected). You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service.

Uploads and File Storage

When you upload a file, you can choose how long it stays available:

• 1 day
• 3 days
• 5 days
• No expiry

If you select “No Expiry”, your file will remain available as long as you maintain enough credits to cover ongoing storage time. If your credits run out, your files will be deleted.

QuickShare is not a backup service. Please keep your own copies of any files you upload.

Payments and Credits

QuickShare uses a credit-based system. The current rate is R0.01 per GB per hour of storage.

Payments are securely processed through PayFast, and all billing is handled in South African Rand (ZAR). Pricing may change in the future, but we’ll notify users in advance.

Refunds

Refunds aren’t automatic, but we aim to be fair. If you experience a problem (like a failed upload or technical issue), please contact us via the support form. If your request seems legitimate and not abusive, we’ll gladly issue a refund or re-credit your account.

File Ownership and Responsibility

You keep ownership of your files. By uploading, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share the files, and
• Your files don’t violate any laws or third-party rights.

You’re fully responsible for the content you upload and share.

Prohibited Content and Use

You may not use QuickShare to upload or share:

• Illegal content (e.g., copyrighted material without permission)
• Pornography or sexually explicit material
• Malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Anything that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination

We do not monitor files, but if we become aware of illegal or abusive content, we reserve the right to remove it and report it to the relevant authorities.

Availability, Data Loss, and Liability

QuickShare runs on reliable cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare R2), but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service or file availability.

We may occasionally remove files early if:

• Abuse or suspicious activity is detected, or
• Technical or maintenance issues require it.

You use QuickShare at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or damages resulting from using the service.

Privacy and Logs

We collect minimal data to operate the service safely. This includes:

• Account details (name, email, etc.)
• Upload and download metadata (file size, timestamps, IP address)
• Payment records handled by PayFast
• Access logs for security and troubleshooting

We may keep logs for around 90 days unless required longer for legal or technical reasons.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except when required by law.

Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts that:

• Upload illegal or abusive content
• Attempt to misuse the system
• Fail to maintain sufficient credits for storage
• Violate these Terms

You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we’ll post a notice on the site or email registered users. Continued use of QuickShare after updates means you accept the new version.
